Individual Counselling
Individual counselling, also known as therapy or psychotherapy, is a process in
which a trained professional helps individuals work through personal issues,
emotional challenges and mental health concerns. It is a collaborative and
confidential relationship between the client and the counsellor, with the aim of
promoting personal growth, emotional well-being and positive change.
Our therapist will help you explore thoughts, feelings and behaviors with support, guidance and expertise to help you gain insight into personal challenges and develop skills to make positive changes.

Couples Counselling
Couples therapy or marriage counselling focuses on improving the relationship between partners. It involves working with a therapist to address issues and conflicts with the relationship, with the goal of enhancing communication, problem solving and strengthening the bond between partners.
We provide a structured and supportive environment for couples to work through their unique relationship issues; discover individual and collective goals, values and desires for future growth.
Couples therapy can address a wide range of concerns that couples may face such as communication problems, trust issues, financial conflicts, parenting
disagreements, sexual difficulties and adjusting to major life changes.
Couples therapy is most effective when both partners are committed to attending sessions and actively participating in the process. It requires openness, willingness to explore personal and relationship dynamics and the desire to work towards positive changes.
Many theories and practices are used during sessions, but we are always trauma focused and explore events or behaviors that may affect each partners ability to regulate and attend to one another’s needs.
Family Counselling
Family therapy is ideal for improving dynamics and functioning of the family unit. It involves working with a trained therapist to address the issues and conflicts with the family system with the goal of enhancing communication, resolving conflicts and strengthening the relationships among family members.
During family counselling sessions, members of the family participate in the therapy process. The therapist acts as a neutral facilitator, helping members communicate their needs and wants effectively; understand each other’s perspectives and develop healthier patterns of interaction.
We can help support a wide range of issues that families may face, such as conflicts between parents and children, sibling rivalry, communication breakdowns, parenting challenges, behavioral problems or major life events (divorce, grief or loss substance abuse, etc.…) affecting members of the family.
The duration and frequency of family counselling sessions can vary depending of the specific needs of the family. Some families may benefit from a short-term approach to address specific issues, while others may engage in long-term therapy to work through deeper-rooted concerns.
